Adi Chunchunagiri School

Our school is located in Sai Nagar Colony, Secunderabad, with a long address at 1-1-183/40/46/29 that even we sometimes have trouble remembering. Adi Chunchunagiri School is a very typical local school. We do not have much in the way of luxury. The benches are made of wood and have been used by many students over the years. The walls are painted a simple off-white, and we pin up the kids' work whenever we have the space. Being in Hyderabad, it gets very hot in the summer, so our ceiling fans are almost always humming in the background. We do not have a corporate office or a PR person to handle our image. It is just us, the teachers, and the support staff who keep the place running. We spend our mornings at the gate greeting the kids and the afternoons making sure everyone gets on the right bus or finds their parents. The neighborhood is busy, so there is always a bit of dust and noise coming in from the Sai Nagar streets. We have had to fix the plumbing more times than I can count, and the playground equipment could probably use a new coat of paint. But the kids do not seem to mind. They just want to play and learn. We are just a small, honest part of the community here, doing what schools do without any of the extra fluff.
