Adarsh Public School Khaniyadhana

Adarsh Public School Khaniyadhana is located at House No 17-4-267 in Yakutpura. We are right in the Charminar area of Hyderabad, which means the streets are narrow and the whole neighborhood is very old and full of history. Our school is basically a converted house, so it has a very personal, local feel to it. You won't find any big glass walls or high-tech equipment here. We have basic classrooms with benches and boards for the kids to use. It gets a bit cramped when all the students are in their seats, but we’ve made it work for years. Most of the kids live just a few doors down or a couple of streets over in the 500002 area. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows the parents and the grandparents too. We spend the day teaching the children their letters and numbers and getting them through the grades. There’s always someone coming or going, and the sounds of the neighborhood are always present in the background. It’s a very grounded place. We don't have a big staff, just a few dedicated people who show up every day to help the kids learn. In the summer, it gets quite warm inside the building, but we have enough fans to keep the air moving for the students. It’s just a small, honest school in the heart of Yakutpura, doing what it can for the local community without any fuss.
