Adarsh Public High School Jatara is actually located on the second floor of the Balaji Arcade. If you know Chirag Ali Lane in Hyderabad, you know how packed it gets with people and cars every single day. It’s right in the middle of everything, which makes it convenient for some but it is also a bit loud during class hours. Being on the second floor means there’s a lot of walking up and down the stairs for the kids and the teachers. We don't have a big open playground like some of the schools outside the city center, but we find ways to keep the students active in the small space we have available. The school day starts early, and the morning rush on the lane is always something to deal with. Our classrooms are simple, with desks and chairs that have seen a bit of use over the years. We spend our time on the books and getting through the syllabus so the kids are ready for their exams. It’s a practical kind of place. Most of the parents work nearby in the local shops, so it’s easy for them to drop their children off before they head to their own jobs. We don't have a marketing team; we just do our work and talk to the parents when they come by to check on things. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to open all the windows, but that’s just how it is here in the 500001 area.
