Adarsh Jyoti Shiksha Niketan High School

Adarsh Jyoti Shiksha Niketan High School is right in the middle of Abids in Hyderabad. We are located at Door No 5-9-189, on the 2nd Floor of A Block in the Lenaine Estate. Being in such a busy commercial area like Abids means the school is surrounded by shops, banks, and offices. The school is a bit tucked away since it is on the second floor, so students and staff have to use the stairs every day to get to the classrooms. It is not a traditional campus with a big gate or a field. It is an urban school setup. We use the rooms we have for the different high school grades. The hallways are quite narrow, and it can get a bit loud when everyone is moving between classes. Since we are in an estate building, we share the premises with various other businesses. Our teachers have to be very organized with the limited space we have. We focus on the high school curriculum, and most of our students come from the local Hyderabad neighborhoods. It is a very practical arrangement for a school in the city center. You can always hear the city traffic from the windows, but the kids and teachers don't seem to mind much after a while. We do not have any fancy labs or play areas, just the classrooms and the essentials for learning. It is a no-frills place.
