Acme Fashions Designers

Acme Fashions Designers is situated at Door No 1-6-2/11 on Street No 8 in Habsiguda. We are on the first floor of building 1-4051, which is quite close to the Bashyam School. If you are walking down Street No 8, you will see us there. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, but the space upstairs is good for our work. We have been in Habsiguda for a long time and seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Our studio is where we do all the designing and sewing. It’s not a polished showroom. There are threads on the floor and scraps of fabric everywhere. That’s just the reality of making clothes. We spend most of our time at our machines or at the cutting table. The school nearby means it gets very loud when the kids are let out, but it also makes the area feel alive. We are just a few people working together. We don't have any fancy titles or a human resources department. If there is a problem, we just talk it out and fix it between us. Most of our customers are locals who live nearby or parents from the school who stop in. We keep it simple and focus on the tasks at hand. Hyderabad is a big city, but our corner of Habsiguda feels like a small village sometimes. We like it that way and just keep working day to day, making things by hand.
