Abhyasa Residential School

Our school is located out in Toopran, in the Medak District. Being a residential school, it’s a bit different because the kids are here all the time. It’s a lot quieter out here than it is in the city, which is nice for focusing. We’ve got a good amount of land, and there’s always some yard work or building maintenance to be done. Living and working in the same place means we really get to know the grounds. It’s 502 334 if you’re looking for the postal code. The mornings usually start early with the sun coming up over the fields nearby. It can get quite lonely for some people being away from the city lights, but we like the pace out here. We have to be self-sufficient for a lot of things. If something breaks, we usually have to figure out how to fix it ourselves or wait for someone to come out from the town. The staff and the students spend a lot of time together, so it feels a bit like a small village sometimes. We don’t have much use for fancy marketing or corporate talk. We just provide a place for kids to stay and learn while they are away from home. It’s a practical life, mostly filled with classes, meals, and looking after the property. It's just what we do out here in Medak. It is quite simple really.
