Abhaya School

We are tucked away at 160-D in Patny Nagar, right off SP Road. It’s a busy neighborhood, and the school is part of the local fabric here. The building isn't very big, but we make the most of the space we have. Every morning, the street gets crowded with parents dropping off their kids. You can hear the chatter of the students long before you actually enter the building. We have a small staff, and we all know each other’s business. It’s that kind of place. We don't have a massive campus with green fields; instead, we have classrooms that are filled with books and desks. Most of our day is spent managing the schedule and making sure the kids are where they need to be. Sometimes the noise from SP Road can be a bit much, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We focus on the basics here. There are no fancy gadgets or high-tech labs, just honest teaching and a lot of hard work. We keep the records in big ledgers and the office is usually piled high with papers. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but we know where everything is. The people who live in Patny Nagar know us well, and we’ve taught many of the kids from the same families. It’s just a simple neighborhood school trying to do a decent job every day for the local community.
