K L E Technological University is located on the B V Bhoomaraddi Campus in the Vidyanagar area. It’s a pretty large space with lots of old trees and brick buildings. Most people around here just call it the BVBCET campus because that was the name for a long time before it became a university. When you walk through the gates, you see students everywhere, either rushing to their labs or sitting under the shade talking. Our offices are spread out across a few different blocks. Some of the buildings are quite old and have that heavy, academic feel to them, while the newer parts are a bit more open. We spend our days dealing with a lot of paperwork, schedules, and keeping the facilities running. It’s not just about the classes; there is a lot of maintenance work that goes on behind the scenes to keep the lights on and the labs ready. The staff here come from all over the region. We have a canteen where everyone gathers for lunch, and that’s usually where the real news of the day gets shared. It can get very quiet during the exam seasons, which is a big change from the usual noise of students moving between buildings. We don’t have a fancy corporate office. Most of our desks are covered in files and old journals. It’s a place where people are busy learning or helping others learn, and we just keep the wheels turning.
