Ibmr

Ibmr is set up in the Anupama Archade, which is right by the Joshi Hostel in Hubli. This part of Karnataka is quite busy, especially with all the students living nearby. Being in an arcade means there are always people walking past the windows at all hours. Our neighbors are other small shops and local businesses, so there is a lot of noise and activity throughout the day. The building is an older one, and the arcade has that classic look with narrow hallways and small shop fronts. We chose this spot because it’s very easy for people in Hubli to find. You don't even need a map; you just ask for the Joshi Hostel and everyone knows where that is. Inside, our space is pretty simple and basic. We have a few desks and some chairs for when people come in to talk to us. It’s not a high-tech environment with shiny floors and glass walls. It’s just a practical office where we get things done. The summers in Hubli can get very hot, so we usually have the ceiling fans running at full speed. Sometimes the water supply in the building is a bit temperamental, but we’ve learned to keep a few buckets filled just in case. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't follow any corporate handbooks or have fancy titles for everyone here. We just show up, open the shutters, and start the day’s work. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but it’s ours.
