Impulse Pre University Science College

Located over in Surya Avenue, specifically in the Akshay Colony area of Hubli, our college is usually quite a hive of activity. Being a science college means the students are often stressed about their practicals and their upcoming entrance tests. You’ll see them in the labs with their aprons on, looking into microscopes or mixing things in test tubes. It’s a serious environment but we try to keep it grounded. The neighborhood around Vidyanagar is pretty nice, and it’s a good spot for a school. The building is modern enough, but it has that lived-in feel because of all the foot traffic. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. It’s about the labs, the textbooks, and the long hours of study. The office is often a bit of a squeeze when parents come in to ask about marks. We have a small canteen nearby where students grab a quick bite. Life here revolves around the academic calendar. When exams are close, the whole place goes quiet, and when they are over, there’s a big sigh of relief from everyone. We are just a group of people working together to help these kids get into a good degree course later on. It’s hard work for them and for us too, but it’s what we do. No one here is trying to put on a show. We just keep the doors open and the lights on.
