I L S Constructions is over at number 45 on Jakaraddi Complex Road in Vidyanagar. The road itself can be a bit rough sometimes, especially when it rains and the mud gets everywhere. Our office is right there in the mix of things. It’s a straightforward setup inside, mostly just desks, a few cupboards for our records, and a place for people to sit if they drop by. The building has been there for a while, so it has that lived-in feel to it. It’s not a corporate skyscraper or anything like that. We have a lot of maps and site plans pinned to the walls, which are starting to curl at the edges. The air conditioning works most of the time, but we usually keep the windows open if it’s a nice day, even if the Vidyanagar dust comes in a bit. You can hear the neighbors talking and the occasional cow or dog on the road outside. It’s a very local vibe here. We usually spend the morning catching up on what happened at the different sites. There’s always someone coming in or out with some news or a problem to solve. It’s a bit messy and loud, but it’s our space and we like it that way. We aren’t really into the whole polished business look; we just keep things practical and move along with the day’s tasks. The Jakaraddi Complex Road is a busy little place, but we’re used to it and it works for us.
