Utsav Hotel

Down here on NH 6, things never really stop moving. We are right by the Dhulagori Chowrasta, which is always busy with trucks and people traveling. Being beside the Dhulagori Truck Terminal means there is a lot of noise and dust from the road. Our hotel is a place where people can finally pull over and take a break from the driving. It isn't a five-star place with carpets and quiet hallways. It’s a highway hotel. We see a lot of drivers and families passing through Howrah. The tea is always hot and we try to keep the rooms tidy. The staff lives nearby, so we know the area well. Sometimes the rain makes the road a mess, and then we get even busier with people looking for shelter. We spend our mornings checking the linens and making sure the kitchen is stocked. It is a lot of routine work. The view outside is mostly just the highway and the big trucks parked at the terminal. It’s a practical spot for someone who has been on the road for ten hours. We don’t do much advertising because the location does the work. People see the sign from the road and pull in. We just try to be helpful. It’s a tough business being out on the highway, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels normal to us now.
