Intercontinental Goa

We have been based here in Salkia for quite a while now. It is just Mr. S.P. Pandey’s place tucked away on T.N.B. Bose Lane. Being in Howrah, we are quite far from the beach, despite the name on our sign. Most people in the neighborhood know where we are because the lane is narrow and we’ve been here so long. It is not a big corporate building with glass windows. It is just a regular house where we have set up some desks and computers to get our work done. The monsoon season is always a bit of a challenge because the road outside gets muddy, but we just wear our boots and keep going. We handle the daily tasks and answer the phone when it rings. It’s a small team here, just a few of us who have lived in West Bengal our whole lives. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you’ll just find one of us sitting at the main table with a cup of tea. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the paperwork piles up a bit on the corner desk. It’s a local way of doing business, very straightforward and without any of that polished talk you hear in the big cities. We just focus on what needs to be finished before the day ends.
