G. B. Impex

If you’re around Shyamsunder Chowk, you’re close to G. B. Impex. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. The Chowk is a landmark for everyone in the area, so it’s easy to tell people where to go. Our office is right there, and it’s a pretty simple setup. We don't have any of those modern glass partitions or fancy overhead lights. It’s just an open room with some desks pushed together. The ceiling fan wobbles a little when it’s on the high setting, which can be a bit distracting if you’re trying to focus on paperwork. We deal with a lot of different people coming in and out during the day. Sometimes they’re looking for someone else and got lost, but we try to help them anyway. It gets quite dusty because of the road right outside, so we spend a lot of time wiping down our computer screens and the desks. There’s a small back room where we keep some samples and extra supplies, though it’s gotten a bit cluttered lately. We keep saying we’ll clean it out on a Saturday morning, but we never quite get around to it. It’s a comfortable place to work though. We know all the local shops and where to get the best snacks for the afternoon break. It’s just a regular local business doing its thing every day without too much fuss or worry about the small things.
