J. Trading Co.

Our office is located at No. 29/10 N. S. Dutta Road. It's a busy spot. J. Trading Co. has been in this space for a while now. The walls are a bit faded and have some marks. There’s a ceiling fan that makes a clicking sound when it’s on the high setting, which we mostly ignore. Most days start the same way for us. We unlock the heavy door and let some air in, though the street is usually loud by then with all the traffic. It isn't a fancy setup. Just some desks, chairs, and a lot of papers stacked up in piles. Sometimes the mail arrives late and we just wait for it. People walk past the window and don't really look in. That's fine. We know the neighbors well enough. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually go when we need a break from the computer screens. N. S. Dutta Road gets very crowded around lunchtime. You can hear the horns honking from inside. It’s just how things are here. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the name J. Trading Co. painted near the entrance. It's a bit small, but if you're looking for us, you’ll find it. The floor is old tile. It’s easy to clean but looks a bit worn down in the spots where we walk. It feels like home after all these years. We just keep doing what we do every day without making a big fuss. That's just the way it goes here.
