You can find us at 222 Girish Ghosh Road. It is a busy street where something is always happening. At Salasar Exim, we don’t have any fancy stuff on the walls or a big lobby. We just have our desks, our computers, and a lot of filing cabinets. We handle import and export tasks, which means we spend a lot of time on the phone and checking emails. It is a regular job and we are regular people. Some of us have been here since the start, so we know all the little problems that come up with shipping goods. We don't use any marketing tricks or try to sound like a giant corporation. We are just a local business trying to do things right. The office is often full of paper because there are so many forms to fill out for every shipment. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can, but sometimes things are out of our hands. We eat our lunch together and talk about the neighborhood. It’s a simple life here on Girish Ghosh Road. We don’t have a mission statement or anything like that. We just show up in the morning, do the work that needs doing, and head home. It is a bit cramped sometimes when new samples arrive, but we manage just fine.
