We have been operating our business out of Nibra for a good while now. The workshop is situated right here in Domjur, and it gets quite busy during the morning shifts when all the machines start humming at once. We handle a lot of different apparel work throughout the week. Most of the people who work here live just a short walk away, so it is a real local crowd in the building. The roads around Howrah can get a bit dusty and crowded, but we manage to keep the place running smoothly regardless of the chaos outside. It isn't some big fancy office with glass walls, just a practical workspace where the actual work gets done. Some days the fabric rolls arrive a bit late and we have to stay back later than usual to finish up. That is just how the garment business works. We have seen the whole area change over the last few years. We deal with various garments, mostly just the daily staples that people need. It is not anything particularly glamorous, but it keeps the lights on for everyone here. My own desk is usually covered in scrap pieces and old order sheets. Sometimes grabbing a quick tea from the stall down the lane is the best part of the afternoon. We always try to make sure the stitching is decent before anything leaves the floor. It is a lot of manual checking and counting.
