Shree Raghav Entertainment

Our place, Shree Raghav Entertainment, is located over on Hardutt Rai Chamaria Road in Howrah. It’s a busy street and finding parking can be a real headache some days. We’ve been here for a bit now. We handle a lot of different things for local functions. It’s not a corporate setup at all. Mostly it’s just me and a couple of guys making sure the equipment isn't broken. Howrah is always crowded, so getting things moved around takes twice as long as you’d think. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just sitting in the shop waiting for the next job. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We mostly work with families and small groups around the 711101 area. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to sit and wait. It’s part of the job here. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get the work done right so we can go home. People stop by to chat even when they don't need anything. It’s that kind of place. We keep the registers and the bookings in a big notebook. It works for us. Nothing fancy needed. Sometimes we have to stay late to fix a light or untangle some wires. My brother says we should get a computer but the notebook is easier for us to manage during the day.
