Divyansh Florist is our little flower shop in Salkia, Howrah. We are located at 14/21/9, Sanatan Mistry Lane. It’s a narrow lane, and we are right near the Shiv Mandir, so it’s easy to find if you’re looking for the temple. We start our days very early, usually before the sun is even up, to get the freshest flowers from the market. The shop always smells like roses and marigolds, but it’s also a bit damp and messy from all the water and stems on the floor. That’s just how a real florist shop looks. We don't have a refrigerated glass display or anything like that. We just keep the flowers in buckets and arrange them however people want. Some days are slow, but during festival times or weddings, we barely have time to sit down. We don’t have a marketing team or a fancy logo. Most of our customers are people from the neighborhood who stop by on their way to the temple or to a friend's house. We aren’t a big chain store. It’s just us here in Salkia, doing our best with what we have. Sometimes we run out of a certain color or the delivery is late because of the traffic on the bridge, but we always make it work somehow. It’s a simple life, surrounded by flowers and the people of our community.
