Aarshia Event Management

Aarshia Event Management is a small business we run from 75/5, Tanti Para Lane in Howrah. We are located right near the Tibbati Baba Math, which is a place everyone around here knows. Most of the work we do involves managing local family functions like weddings or rice ceremonies. Being in a place like Howrah means the lanes are very narrow and crowded. Sometimes it is a real struggle to get the trucks with the tents and chairs into the lane without blocking everyone else. We have to talk to the neighbors and make sure they do not mind us working there for a few days. Our office is just a simple room where we keep our ledgers and meet with people to talk about their plans. We do not have a big team of workers. It is mostly just us and some temporary help we hire when a big party comes up. It can be very stressful when the weather turns bad and we have an outdoor event planned. We have had to move entire setups under cover in the pouring rain more than once. We do not have a polished way of doing things. We just handle problems as they come up. Most people in Tanti Para Lane know us by name, so they just come by the house when they need something organized. It is just steady work for us and we like being part of the neighborhood.
