Nik-Nish Retail Ltd.

This branch of Nik-Nish is out in Abhoynagar, which is part of the Bally area in Howrah. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city of Kolkata, but it’s quieter here. The address is simple, just the village and the post office, but everyone around here knows where it is. We are in the 711205 area, which has a much more rural feel than the other offices. The air is a bit fresher, and there are more trees around the building. We handle a lot of the distribution from this location. Trucks come in and out through the narrow roads, which can be tricky when two vehicles meet. The building itself is sturdy but plain. We don't have air conditioning in most of the rooms, so we rely on big ceiling fans and open doors. The pace of work is steady, but we don't feel the same rush as the city office. Usually, the day starts early before the heat gets too bad. We spend hours checking the shipments and making sure nothing got damaged on the way here.
