Nandini Tutorial

Nandini Tutorial is located at B/37 Prantik Abasan on Station Road in Howrah. We are very close to Sen Hardware, which is how most people find their way to our door. Being near the station means it is always busy, and you can hear the distant sound of trains and whistles throughout the day. The building is a typical residential complex, so it’s a bit of a maze until you get used to the corridors. We use a couple of rooms in the flat for our tutorials. It’s not a big institution with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small group of us helping the kids from the nearby apartments and the houses down Station Road. We have some wooden benches and a few old chairs that we’ve collected over the years. The lighting isn’t always the brightest, but we make it work for reading. We spend our evenings going over homework and preparing for the next day's school tests. It feels very much like a family setting. We know which kids are lazy and which ones are trying hard. We don’t have a website or any fancy brochures to hand out. People just know we are here because their neighbors told them. It’s just a small, local spot in Howrah where we do our best to help out with the school books and nothing more.
