We've been running M. F. Store for a while now here in Deolpur. Most people in the village know where we are, right near the Panchla police station area in Dhulagarh. It’s just a regular shop where we keep the things folks need every day. I started this because there wasn't much else close by for my neighbors. We try to keep the shelves stocked with the usual stuff like rice, lentils, and little household items. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the mornings when everyone stops by on their way to work, but we manage just fine. My family helps out behind the counter when things get busy during the festival seasons. It isn't a fancy place with bright lights or anything, just a solid building with four walls and the basics. We know most of our customers by name since they live right down the road or in the next lane over. If we don't have something, we usually try to get it in by the next week when we go to the larger market. The rain sometimes makes the road a bit messy out front, but people still come in for their groceries. I spend a lot of time here, from early morning until we close up at night. It’s just how life is in this part of West Bengal. Nothing too complicated about it. We just keep the doors open and sell what people are looking for. It's a quiet spot most days, and we like it that way.
