Gallys Engineering Co

We've been over here on Benares Road for a good while now. The workshop for Gallys Engineering Co is at 140/1 and it stays pretty busy most days. Salkia is a crowded spot, so getting things in and out takes some doing, but we manage. Most of what we do involves fixing parts or making things for other local shops around here. It isn’t a fancy place, mostly just grease, tools, and metal shavings on the floor. People know where to find us when something breaks or they need a specific piece cut to size. My dad started this kind of work, and now we just keep it going day by day. Sometimes the machines act up or the power cuts out, which is just how it goes in this part of town. We don't have a big office or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back working on a lathe or welding something. It's loud and messy, but that’s the job. We try to get things done when we say we will, though sometimes things take longer if a part is hard to find. We just focus on the work right in front of us. There’s always a stack of orders waiting and we just chip away at them. It's a simple way to make a living, honestly. We don't worry about being the biggest, just staying steady and keeping the machines running. It is how it's always been for us.
