Fashion Mart

Fashion Mart is up on the 5th floor at 24 Kalakar Street in Bara Bazar. Being in Bara Bazar means it’s always loud and crowded downstairs. We are a bit removed from the street noise being up on the 5th floor, but you can still hear the city moving below. The elevator doesn't always work perfectly, so sometimes we end up taking the stairs. It’s a bit of a workout. The space is filled with racks and boxes of all kinds. We don't have a fancy display window because we are so high up. We just have our work area and the stock we keep on hand. Konnagar is where we are based. It’s a busy hub for business. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just deal with people who know we are here. Most of our day is spent checking through items and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we do. We don't use big words to describe ourselves. We are just Fashion Mart and we work out of this 5th-floor space. Sometimes it gets quite hot in the afternoons, but we have a couple of fans going to keep the air moving. It’s a practical place for a practical business. We just keep at it and see how things go. No fancy stuff here.
