You can find us at No. 493b Gt Road, tucked inside the old Bengal Jute Mills Compound. We are in Module No. 22 A. It’s an old industrial area, so the buildings have that worn-in look with thick walls and high ceilings. Dhananjai Apparels Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this module for a good bit now. It’s a bit of a maze getting through the compound sometimes, especially with all the other businesses around, but we like the history of the place. We focus on making different kinds of apparel. The floor is usually covered in patterns and fabric cutouts. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s a place where work actually happens. We have a bunch of sewing stations and a big table for checking the finished pieces. The lighting isn't always perfect, but we've got enough lamps to see what we're doing. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going full blast. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most of our time is spent talking to the tailors and making sure the supplies arrived on the Gt Road. It’s a bit gritty and loud, but it’s our space and we know where everything is. We just try to keep the quality steady and the orders moving out of the compound on time. It is a lot of effort every day, but we are used to the pace here and wouldn't have it any other way.
