Murlidhar Baheti Garments Shop is located at No. 7 Shambhu Mullick Lane. We are right by the A. V. Market in the Burra Bazar area. It is a very busy part of town, always lots of people and noise. Our shop is full of different clothes and fabrics. We have been here for a long time. It’s a family-run kind of place, nothing too formal. We spend most of our time folding clothes and talking to the people who come in from the market. Burra Bazar is a hectic place to be, but we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. We have stacks of boxes everywhere and it can be hard to move around sometimes. We just try to help people find what they need, whether it is for a wedding or just everyday wear. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything. Most people know us by word of mouth. Sometimes the lane gets blocked with deliveries, but that is just how it is around here. We have seen the market change over the years, but our little shop stays pretty much the same. We take pride in just being a local spot where you can get decent clothes without any fuss. It is a lot of hard work and long hours, especially during the festive seasons when everyone wants something new. We just keep going one day at a time and keep the shop open for whoever drops by.
