We’ve been at C.T.I. Bazar for quite some time now, right in the Kashipur area of Dasnagar. It is a busy place to be every day. Most of our mornings start with a cup of tea and looking over the work orders that came in the night before. It’s not a fancy office by any means. There is usually grease on the floors and the machines make a whole lot of noise once they get going. We mostly deal with mechanical parts and engineering repairs. People around here know where to find us if they need something fixed or fabricated. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just have to sit outside on the stools for a bit and wait for it to come back. It is a small team here. Everyone knows what they are supposed to be doing. We do not spend much time sitting around talking. We just keep our heads down and get through the pile of steel on the floor. If you walk past the main market, you can probably hear our lathe machines running from a distance. It has been this way since the day we opened the doors. Nothing much has changed over the years. We just keep things moving. Some of our customers have been coming to us since the beginning. We handle iron, steel, and whatever else needs turning. It gets pretty dusty in the summer months. We drink a lot of water and tea to stay focused. We just try to get the measurements right.
