About Annapurna Engineering Pattern Works – Engineering in Howrah
We are tucked away over at Plot No.135/7 in Salkia. It’s a busy little corner near Dharmatala Road. If you’ve ever walked around Salkia, you know the sound of hammers and machines. That’s what it sounds like inside Annapurna Engineering Pattern Works most mornings. The dust gets everywhere no matter how much we sweep up. It’s a practical space. We don’t have fancy carpets or quiet offices. It’s mostly just the workbench and the tools we need to get things done. Being near Dharmatala Road means there is always traffic and people moving around. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time squeezing into the plot. We’ve grown used to the tight space though. It feels like home after you’ve spent enough years here. The walls have seen better days but the machines keep running. It’s honest work we do here. We start early when the air is still a bit cool. Salkia is a grounded place. People work hard and don’t talk too much fluff. We fit right in with that. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. Just the name on the door and the work on the table. It gets loud and it gets messy, but that’s just how engineering patterns go. We usually wrap things up when the sun goes down over the road. Just a local shop doing what we know.
