Arvind Garments

Arvind Garments is located at 29/3 New Seal Lane. We are on the ground floor, which is very convenient for us. Our shop is right near the Banvasi Cinema Hall. People usually find us by looking for the cinema first. New Seal Lane is a narrow road and it can get quite congested with traffic and pedestrians. We have been here for many years and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The building we are in is a simple one. Inside, we have our workshop set up with several machines and a big table for cutting fabric. It is not a polished office. It is a place where work gets done. You can hear the sounds of the street all day, but we are used to it by now. We don't have any big signs or advertisements. We just have our name near the door. The staff we have are local people who have been with us for a long time. We treat each other like family. We don't have a mission statement or any corporate goals. We just want to make sure the garments we produce are okay and that our customers are satisfied. Sometimes it gets very hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. We take a break for lunch and then get back to work until evening. It is a practical and honest way to make a living. We like being part of this local community.
