Arvind Garments

You can find Arvind Garments at 29/3 New Seal Lane. We are pretty close to the Bangabashi Cinema Hall, which is how most people find their way to us. That cinema has been there forever, and it’s a good landmark for this part of town. New Seal Lane isn't the widest street, so it feels quite cozy sometimes. Our shop is just a plain room with a lot of shelves and a couple of heavy tables for cutting fabric. We have been here for a good while. The walls have some marks on them from moving furniture around over the years. We don't have fancy displays. Most of what we have is just stacked up where we can reach it. The noise from the cinema crowds on the weekends is something we’ve gotten used to. It makes the area feel alive. We spend our days mostly listening to the radio and working on whatever orders have come in. It’s a simple life. We don't have a lot of rules, we just make sure the work gets finished. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a break on the front step. It’s a decent place to work. We aren't trying to change the world, we just want to make sure the garments we handle are done right. Being near Bangabashi Cinema means there is always someone walking past, looking in. We just keep doing our thing and focusing on the task at hand.
