Arpan Plastic

Arpan Plastic operates out of Salkia. We have two spots, one at No. 1/1 Bhuban Mukherjee Lane and another at 30 Bhairab Ghatak Lane. Having two locations nearby keeps us pretty busy moving between them all day. Salkia is a crowded place, and our lanes can get a bit tight with traffic and people moving around. We deal with plastic items, mostly storage containers and things like that. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we know. The warehouses are usually full of stock, so there isn't much room to walk around. We’ve been in this part of town for a good while. You’ll find us wearing work clothes and probably moving boxes or checking inventory. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If you need to see something, you just come to the lane and we’ll show you what we have available. It’s a very local operation. We know the other shop owners on Bhuban Mukherjee Lane and Bhairab Ghatak Lane. It feels like a community here. We aren't some big multinational corporation. We are just Arpan Plastic, a small business in Salkia. Sometimes it’s hot in the warehouse, and sometimes it’s raining into the lane, but we keep the doors open. We don't use big words or have long meetings. We just count the stock and make sure people get what they asked for. It’s a lot of physical work, but we are used to it by now.
