S L D Engineering

Our shop, S L D Engineering, is a bit off the beaten path. We are at 14A on an unnamed road, but if you find the Indian Tea Stall nearby, you’re basically there. That tea stall is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us. We do a lot of small-scale engineering work, mostly fixing parts or making things to order for local folks. It’s a loud place sometimes with the machines running, but we don't mind. The road doesn't have a name, which tells you a bit about the area—it’s just a practical, working-class spot. We aren't a big corporation with a board of directors. It’s just us and our tools. We’ve been here at 14A for quite some time now. Some days we're covered in grease and metal shavings, but that's just how the work goes. We don't have a website or any of that stuff. People just know we're near the tea stall and they drop by when they have something that needs looking at. It's an honest living. We might not have the newest equipment, but we know how to use what we've got. The shop isn't perfectly tidy, but we know where everything is. We just focus on the job at hand and try to get it done right so the customer can get back to their own work. There’s always some project or another sitting on the workbench waiting for a bit of attention and a steady hand.
