Tuscon Engineers Private Limited is based in Serampore, over at 130/3 Chatra Mukherjee Para. If you know the Hooghly district, you know that Serampore has a lot of history and the streets can be quite narrow and winding. Our office is right in the middle of a residential-meets-commercial area. It’s an old part of town, so things move a bit slower here than in the big city. We are an engineering firm, but we don't have a glass-and-steel building. It’s more of a traditional setup where we’ve been working for years. The walls are a bit weathered and the fans are always humming to keep the Bengal heat away. We do a lot of our planning and paperwork here before heading out to various sites. Most of the people working here grew up in this area, so we have a strong connection to the local community. We aren't big on corporate polish or fancy presentations. We just talk to our clients plainly and tell them what can and cannot be done. Sometimes the internet is slow or the rain makes the streets a bit messy, but we just carry on with our business. It’s a quiet life of engineering and technical work. We don't do any big advertising; we just rely on people knowing where we are and what we’ve done in the past. It's just how we operate.
