Larsen & Toubro Ltd (Ecc Divn.)

Our branch of Larsen & Toubro Ltd (Ecc Divn.) is situated in Uttarpara, at Flat C4/E in the Verma Housing Complex. This is located on 35 Lawrence Street. It’s a residential complex, so the office has a very local, neighborhood feel to it. We aren't in a big commercial park or anything like that. Being in a housing complex means it’s relatively quiet, which is good for when we have to go through a lot of technical drawings or budget sheets. The office itself is just a regular flat that’s been converted into a workspace. We have the usual setup with computers, a printer that sometimes jams, and a lot of folders stacked up on the shelves. It’s where the ECC division staff for this area comes to work every day. We handle the coordination for various projects around here. Uttarpara is a nice place to be, and Lawrence Street is easy enough to find once you know the area. We don't have any big corporate signs out front, just a small one to let people know they’ve reached the right place. Most of our day is spent on the phone or typing up reports. We try to keep things simple and just focus on getting the work done without any extra fuss. It’s a practical, lived-in space that suits the way we operate. We just come in, do our bit for the day, and head home like everyone else.
