Steel & Metal Trading Co

We are located in the Hooghly district, right in the 712704 area. Steel & Metal Trading Co is just what it says on the sign out front. We buy and sell metal. It's a simple business that we've been running out of this same spot for many years. Hooghly is a good place to be because there's always a lot of transport and trucks moving through the region. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights and mirrors. It's more of a functional yard and a small office where we keep all the ledgers and records. We spend a lot of our time checking weights and talking to the truck drivers who come through. It’s dusty work, and the weather can get pretty humid during the monsoon, but we don't mind it much. We are just local people trying to make a decent living. We don't use those corporate mission statements or any of that polished language. We just try to give people a fair price for what they need and get them on their way as quickly as possible. Sometimes the family comes in to help out during the busy seasons when the orders pile up. We've lived in this district for most of our lives, so we know exactly how things work around here. We aren't trying to expand into some huge empire. We just want to keep the trading going smoothly for the long haul. Most people around here know where to find us if they need metal.
