We have got the regular office setup with old ceiling fans and wooden tables. The paperwork piles up just like it does anywhere else. Working in Bhadrakali means being around people who have lived here for many generations. We do not do much in terms of fancy meetings or corporate events. Most of the talk is just about the work for the day and what needs to get done. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out. Being part of the Hooghly landscape is just part of our identity here. We do not need a lot of space to get things done. It is an honest day of work in a part of West Bengal.
