Our place is right on the NH-2, Delhi Road, in Dankuni. We are situated directly opposite the Bhadua Petrol Pump, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find where we are. Being on the highway means we see a lot of heavy vehicles and trucks passing by all day. We deal with ferrous materials, so there is a lot of heavy lifting and metal moving around the yard. The ground can get quite muddy when it rains, and it is very dusty when the weather is dry. We have a small office on-site, but most of the action happens outside where all the material is stored. It is a rugged environment. We do not wear suits here; it is all heavy boots and work clothes. The noise from the highway is constant, but you stop noticing it after the first hour of work. We have got a crew that really knows how to handle the heavy stuff. Sometimes the trucks lining up to load or unload can cause a bit of a scramble in the morning. We just try to keep things moving as smoothly as possible. It is a practical business for practical people. We do not have a fancy lobby or a receptionist at the front. If you come by, you will probably find us near the scales or checking the inventory. It is just honest work with metal and logistics.
