Power Steel Industries

Down at 40, Kotrong Dharmotala Lane, you’ll find us working away at Power Steel Industries. We are located in the Hindmotor area of Hooghly. It’s an industrial sort of spot, which makes sense for what we do. We work with steel, so things can get a bit noisy and dusty around the shop. It isn't a place for suits and ties, that’s for sure. Most of us are in old clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. We’ve been at this for a good while now. The building has some age to it, but it holds up well enough for the machines we use. Dealing with metal is heavy work, and our hands usually show it by the end of the shift. We aren't a massive factory, just a group of people who know how to handle the materials. Sometimes the humidity in West Bengal makes the work harder, but we just push through it. We don't have a fancy front office or a receptionist. Usually, if someone comes by, one of us just wipes our hands on a rag and goes to see what they need. It’s a straightforward way to run a business.
