Our company, Petron Civil Engg. Pvt. Ltd., is located in Vill-Choudhuripara. That is in the Hooghly district, under the Khamarchandi post office. It is a local operation through and through. We work on civil engineering tasks, handling the stuff that goes into making buildings and roads. The office is in a small village setting, so it’s not like those high-rise offices in Kolkata. We prefer it this way because we are close to the sites we work on. Most of our staff lives nearby, which makes it easier when we have to start a job at the crack of dawn. We deal with the daily challenges of construction, like getting materials delivered on time through narrow roads. It is a lot of hard work and sometimes things don't go exactly as planned, but we figure it out. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. We just do the work and let that be the end of it. Hooghly has its own pace, and we fit right into it. Sometimes the office gets a bit cluttered with maps and project files, but we know where everything is. If you need to find us, look for the Choudhuripara area near the post office. We are usually around during the day, unless we are all out at a site. It’s honest work and we take it one day at a time, making sure things are done right.
