Mondal Brothers

We are just a couple of brothers running this business out of Jaypur in the Mogra area. It started small, mostly just helping out neighbors, and then it grew into what it is today. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy letters for us. Most of the work is done by hand, and we spend a lot of our time just making sure the daily tasks get finished before it gets dark. The office, if you can even call it that, is usually cluttered with papers and samples we’re checking. Some days are slower than others, especially when the weather isn’t cooperating, but we stay fairly busy most of the year. Being in a place like Mogra means everyone knows everyone else, so we have to make sure we don’t mess up, or we’ll hear about it at the market. We argue sometimes about how things should be done, like any brothers would, but we always end up figuring it out by the end of the day. Our equipment is old but we keep it clean and it still runs fine. We don't really think about the future much beyond next week’s orders. It’s just about keeping the name going and making sure the stuff we send out is okay. We’re usually here from early morning till late evening.
