We are based in Amodghata, which is part of the Mogra area in Hooghly. It’s an industrial part of West Bengal, so we fit right in. The office is located in a simple building that’s seen a lot of years. Inside, it’s mostly shelves filled with records and a few sturdy tables. We are close to the railway tracks, so you can often hear the trains passing by. That’s just part of the background music for us. Most of the staff comes from the nearby villages or towns like Chinsurah. We handle a lot of the local dispatch work. It’s a lot of checking invoices and talking to the truck drivers who come through. The atmosphere is very casual. We don't wear suits or anything like that. It’s usually just cotton shirts because of the humidity. There is a small tea stall just outside where we often go for a break. The work is repetitive but important. We make sure the cement bags are counted and sent out to the right places. We don’t have a lot of modern tech, just the basics that get the job done. It feels more like a workshop than a corporate office. It’s just how we’ve always operated here in Mogra, focusing on the work at hand without any unnecessary fuss or drama.
