Larsen & Toubro Ltd(Ecc Div)

Our office is located at 20 Gopalbabu Road, in the Charmandirtala area of Chandannagar. We are based in Hooghly, West Bengal, with the pin code 712137. It’s a fairly quiet place compared to the big metro areas, but we stay busy enough with the work for Larsen & Toubro Ltd(Ecc Div). The building is an older one, which fits in with the rest of Chandannagar. We have a few rooms where we manage all the projects and the staff records. It’s not much to look at from the outside, but it’s where we spend most of our waking hours. We drink a lot of chai and talk through whatever problems come up during the day. There’s no big corporate manual on how to be fancy here. We just use common sense and hard work. The local people know us as the place on Gopalbabu Road. Sometimes the humidity in Bengal gets to us, but we keep the fans going and keep working. We don't have a marketing department or anyone trying to make us look better than we are. We are just a group of people doing our jobs in Hooghly. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to make sure we don't make too many mistakes. It’s an honest, simple setup and we like it that way. No big stories, just daily work at the Charmandirtala office.
