Our place is on Kalitala Road in Konnagar. If you know the area, it is near the Hooghly river. Being Jai Balaji Industries Limited here means we deal with a lot of heavy lifting. The Barabahera air is a bit different from the city. We have a solid crew who live nearby. Some walk to work, others take the cycle. The shed gets hot in the summer, especially in May. We keep the fans running, but they don't do much. It is a practical setup. We have the machines, the raw materials, and a small office space for the bills. We don't spend money on fancy signs or marketing stuff. The gates stay open most of the day. You can hear the metal clanging from the street. It is a messy job sometimes. There is grease and iron dust everywhere. We just focus on getting the production numbers right. Nobody wears a suit here. We wear what works for the heat and the grime. Sometimes we have tea breaks under the tree outside when the power goes out. It happens. We just wait it out and get back to it. Dealing with Hooghly logistics can be tricky with the narrow roads. We manage though. It is just honest work. We have been here a while and everyone knows where the Kalitala Road site is. It’s just us doing our thing day after day without any big drama or corporate talk.
