Om Namah Shivaya Brick Company

We are located in Village Badopal, right near the bus stand. It’s a busy little spot because of the buses coming and going through the Fatehabad Taluka. Om Namah Shivaya Brick Company has been here for a good while. You can usually hear the sounds of the bus conductors shouting and the engines idling while we are working on the kiln. It’s a dusty job, and by the end of the shift, we are all covered in it. Being at Post Badopal makes it easy for people to find us. They just get off the bus and walk a short distance. We have a lot of space out here for the bricks to dry in the sun. The weather in the Fatehabad district can be very harsh, especially during the peak of summer, but the heat is actually good for drying the bricks quickly. We don’t have any fancy signs or big billboards. Most people just see the stacks from the road or hear about us from a neighbor. We spend most of our time out in the field, not in an office. We take orders on a mobile phone or on scraps of paper. It’s a straightforward life. We make the bricks, we stack them, and we load them when the buyers arrive. It’s the kind of work that makes you tired but it feels good to see the stacks grow every week as we finish more batches.
