Our office is tucked away in Azad Nagar, Hisar, right near the Leading School. Most people use the school as a landmark when they are trying to find us for the first time. It is a busy little area, especially when school lets out and the streets get crowded with kids and rickshaws. The building itself isn't anything special to look at. Inside, it's just a regular setup with some desks, old files, and a few chairs for people to sit while they wait. We spend a lot of our time going through paperwork and talking to people from the neighborhood about their finances. Viney Kumar is often around, and the place has been here long enough that most the locals know the spot. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the ceiling fan makes a bit of noise on the higher settings, but it gets the job done. We deal with a lot of documents every day, mostly related to vehicle stuff and small business money. It gets dusty because of the road outside, so we are always dusting off the computers. Usually, we start early and work until the sun goes down. There is a small tea shop just a few steps away where we get our morning chai. It's a simple life here in Hisar, just trying to keep the records straight and helping whoever walks through the door with their account questions. We aren't fancy and we don't try to be.
