About Santro Tiles Limited – Building & Construction Material in Himatnagar
We are out here in Dalpur, right on N.H No. 8. Being in Prantij means we see a lot of highway traffic throughout the day and night. At Santro Tiles Limited, things are usually a bit dusty. Tiles are heavy and they break easily if you aren't careful with the boxes. Our warehouse is quite large because we need the space for all the stock we keep. Sabarkantha gets pretty hot during the summer months, which makes the work more tiring. The workers here are mostly locals from the village or nearby areas. We spend the morning checking the shipments that came in overnight. The highway noise is just something we got used to long ago. You can hear the trucks shifting gears as they pass the post office. We aren't doing anything flashy here. It's just moving boxes and making sure the patterns match up for the customers. Sometimes the colors are a bit off from the batch, and we have to sort through them manually. It takes a lot of time and patience. We don't have a fancy showroom with air conditioning. It’s more of a practical place where people come to pick up what they need for their houses. We drink a lot of water and keep the fans going. Life in Sabarkantha is quiet otherwise. We just focus on the stacks of ceramics and the orders waiting to be loaded. It’s steady work and the locals know where to find us.
