A lot of people ask where we are, and we are basically located at 21/A in the Gaytri Society in Himatnagar. It is a familiar spot for most locals here in Gujarat. Working at Asian Granito, things are always on the move. We deal with a lot of heavy stones and ceramic pieces every single day. The yard gets quite loud sometimes with the machinery and the trucks coming in to pick up slabs. It is not the kind of job where you stay clean all day, that is for sure. There is always a bit of grit in the air and on your clothes. We spend a good chunk of our time just organizing the inventory and helping people pick out what they need for their houses. It is interesting to see what kind of patterns people like. Some want plain stuff, others want something with a bit more character. We have been at this spot for a while now, and it has become a bit of a routine. We open up in the morning, check the orders, and start the heavy lifting. It is hard work, but it is honest. You get to know the neighbors in the society too. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when we have too many deliveries at once, but we eventually sort it out. It is just how a business like this runs. We aren't trying to do anything fancy, just getting the job done one slab at a time here in Himatnagar.
