S. S. Granites

We are located at Plot No.374, which is also on H.N. Pura Road in the Kiadb Industrial Area. It’s a big area with lots of similar businesses, so you have to look for the number on the gate. We deal with granites all day long. The stones arrive in big batches and we have to find a place for every single piece. It’s like a giant puzzle sometimes, trying to fit everything in the yard without blocking the way for the trucks. We’ve been at this plot for a while. The wind blows a lot of dust around this part of the industrial estate, so we are always wiping down the slabs so people can actually see the colors. It’s funny how different a stone looks when it’s wet versus when it’s dry. We have a couple of guys who help with the heavy lifting because these pieces aren't moving by themselves. We don't use any fancy talk or try to act like we’re a big corporate office. We’re just a stone yard in an industrial zone. Most days are about checking the inventory and making sure the orders are ready for pickup. It can get a bit repetitive, but there is something nice about seeing a full yard get cleared out and then filled back up again with new stock. It keeps us on our toes and the days go by pretty fast when there is plenty to do.
