Roorkee Kisan Jan Nirman Producer Company Limited is based out of Jhabredi Khurd. We are at Khasra Number 158 in Kwadpur, Lodiwala. Rajesh Kumari is the person we are with. It is a bit of a mouthful of an address for a small business, but it’s just where we are. We are just a bunch of farmers from the Roorkee area. We wanted to build something for ourselves that would last. It’s not a corporate office with suites or glass desks. It’s just a room in Jhabredi Khurd where we keep our files and tools. We spend a lot of time on our tractors or out in the mud during the season. The office is just for the things we have to do for the government and the banks. Kwadpur is a nice area, very quiet most of the year. We have been working this land for years and years. This company is our way of trying to be a bit more official as a group. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just want to grow good stuff and make sure everyone gets a fair share for their effort. Sometimes the paperwork gets confusing, but we help each other out. Rajesh has been very helpful with the space for the office. It’s a bit dusty because of the road out front, but we don't mind. We are just simple people doing our best with what we have.
